If Coquine had a name …
AutoEvolution just covered a bike project from the boutique of Tommy and son – and if there was ever a perfect mix of ‘medium’ and ‘sophisticated’, this bike would do just fine.
The report says the 2016 VRSCF required a wrong 280mm rear tire and conversion kit, along with a unique custom body to ensure the tire fits perfectly to spec.
“In order for the whole new rear assembly to stand out, a special body kit had to be designed. ” comments on the article.
“In this case, we’re dealing with something the store calls the Photon series, and that includes everything from the radiator cover to the taillight, and, of course, the heavily sculpted fuel tank in between.”
We are told that the front fender is part of a series called “reDevoted”. It covers custom wheels, which carry an Arnott air suspension kit and Akrapovic exhaust system – perfect for the stock 60-degree V-twin engine. We also have a workshop-milled rear fork, pulley and side license plate holder, as well as a custom-designed rear fork.
“What’s big and aggressive, yet sophisticated?” A 280 tire on a V-Rod. And that’s exactly how we did it ”, comments Tommy and Sons Official Site.
As usual when it comes to Tommy and Sons builds, we don’t know the price of the thing; However, the report says the “most visible coins” total just over € 2,600 ($ 2,944.59) – so expect that to cost a good chunk of the piggy bank.
