70 EMG performed the seventh edition of India Bike Week (IBW), billed as Asia’s Motorbike Festival, on December 4-5, 2021 in Aamby Valley, Maharashtra.

The “special” edition included sessions with cycling personalities, motorcycle stunt shows and motorcycle club parades. The organizers did not reveal the number of participants but did mention that keeping in mind the prevailing Covid19 scenario, the number this year was small. The last edition in Goa, in December 2019, brought together more than 15,000 people.

IBW 2021 featured vintage and custom machines, biker goodies for sale, ‘Big Trip’ stories, food, drink, live track experiences, stunt shows and a live DJ.

With COVID-19 sensitivities and protocols in mind, the number of tickets sold for IBW 2021 has been limited, organizers have informed.

On the show were new motorcycles on a dedicated stage, in addition to a showcase of old and modified motorcycles. Hero MotoCorp, Harley-Davidson, Kawasaki and Honda had occupied special stands to display their motorcycles.

In a stunt zone, experts performed supercar drifts and stunts like wheelies and stoppies.

“This year has been absolutely special and surprising for the love we have received in Aamby Valley! I am so happy to see people cycling from Dharamshala to Cochin. The cycling community in India grows stronger with each season, ”said Martin Da Costa, Festival Director of India Bike Week.
