The Seneca man was rushed to Mercy Joplin
NEWTON COUNTY, Missouri – On Saturday afternoon, Newton County Central Dispatch was alerted to a motorcycle accident on Bethel Road, three miles north of Seneca, Missouri.
Seneca Fire, Seneca Rural Fire, Newton County MPs and Newton County Ambulance responded. Missouri State Highway Patrol have been notified.

Matthew Bedford, 53, of Seneca, was driving a 1991 Harley Davidson southbound on Bethel Road at around 2:45 pm He was seriously injured in the crash and was rushed to Mercy Joplin via the county ambulance by Newton.

Bedford was not wearing a helmet according to the report.
