Make an offer, win and go. This Harley-Davidson CVO Road King is on auction block this time around. The listed model has 2,300 miles on the odometer and is available in Massachusetts with a specific Rhode Island title.
Designed as a touring bike in 2014, the Harley-Davidson Road King was called Project RUSHMORE before its release. A cruiser of significant proportions, it’s safe to say it was designed to tackle long hauls with easy handling in mind.
The bike itself is finished in Deep Sherwood Pearl and Galactic Black with Aztec Shadow graphics. Being a Harley, it comes with the best cruising technology HD could offer in 2014. In addition to its rich feature set, the model comes with a black windshield, tinted windshield, battery charger pigtail, LED and halogen lights, lockable saddlebags with removable liners and chrome side stand. For those of you who don’t know, Harley issued a recall with this model at the time, and the listing indicates that work on the saddlebag recall was completed in 2015.
As far as footwork goes, you get 19-inch wheels up front and 18-inch wheels in the rear. These alloy rims also come wrapped in a set of Dunlop tires stamped with a 2014 production date code. You may want to have the tires changed if you decide to purchase this absolute unit of a motorcycle.
The bike is stopped by a set of double floating ventilated discs at the front, as well as a single disc at the rear. The two calipers are also linked and have an anti-lock braking system (ABS). The shocks include a conventional fork with two rear springs mounted on the swingarm of the bike.
Being American, the Road King measures the displacement of its engine in cubic inches. The 110ci double-cam V-Twin is mated to a 6-speed transmission, and the last oil change on this bike was in April 2021.
Take this Screaming Eagle already. The sale will include its owner’s manual, tool kit, factory documentation, and its current bid is $ 17,500. It could increase in the time remaining in its auction, so act before Thursday, October 21, 2021.
