Honda has just unveiled a concept bike at EICMA – and the Hornet will apparently be making a comeback.

Fascinating, for me, because there are technically several Honda motorcycles that have sported the nickname “Hornet”.

We’re assuming this new concept will replace the original CB600F, although it may also be a larger displacement variant never seen in Honda’s current lineup.

We and Multichannel network assess this based on the sights and sounds brought by the EICMA events; the ultra-aggressive head (reminiscent of a KTM 890 Duke), the “Sound effects accompanying the scene suggesting that it will be a mid-size parallel twin, fitted with a quick shifter,”” the “Wide and flat tail reminiscent of the Honda Fireblade superbike” and a set of pointy shoulders that beat any in Honda’s naked roadster lineup.
