
U.S. stocks fell on Monday amid concerns over the Omicron coronavirus variant ahead of a Federal Reserve meeting later this week, as investors watched Apple move closer to $ 3 trillion in market cap.
At 1:08 p.m. ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average (.DJI) was down 0.9%. The S&P 500 (.SPX) was down 0.68% to 4,680.02 and the Nasdaq Composite (.IXIC) was down 1.07% to 15,463.537.
