In 1903, the American motorcycle manufacturer known as Harley-Davidson opened its first store in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, before branching out into the global conglomerate it has become. Over the years, this iconic brand has developed customizable chopper-style motorcycles, making it a specialized niche that has made Harley a favorite among motorcycle enthusiasts. With the 2022 Harley-Davidson Nightster, the tradition of offering motorcycles that are always customizable still keeps this company on the roadmap as innovative as ever. A lot has changed since 1903 as the 21st century has produced more contemporary models such as the VRSC series from 2002 and the middleweight Street rigs from 2015.

About the 2022 Harley-Davidson Nightster

Starting at US$13,499.00, the 2022 Harley-Davidson Nightster promises to advance the next chapter of this iconic brand’s Sportster heritage in performance and design. Sixty-five years after the introduction of the Harley-Davidson Sportster, the Nightster features a proprietary Revolution Max 975T V-Twin engine with advanced features such as liquid cooling. This helps make this model a faster and more agile bike, capable of delivering a significant amount of torque with lower rpm. Harley-Davidson’s legacy as a brand, with the Sportster as a model, continues in the 2022 Nightster as the journey into the future continues among motorcycle enthusiasts. Fans of Sportster models will recognize the shape of the airbox cover, sharing the profile with the Sportster’s fuel tank.

The Nightster also comes fitted with a nineteen inch front wheel while the lug is measured at sixteen inches. These dimensions allow the bike to perform with a better handling experience for the rider as it is able to make razor sharp turns seemingly effortlessly. The Nightster uses the chassis of an older model Sportster, the exposed rear twin shocks feature a critical styling line at the rear of the bike. Its compact and lightweight frame includes the drivetrain serving as a stressed member that significantly reduces the weight of the bike, thus making the chassis more robust. This adds to the safety and comfort of the driver as he enjoys the 2022 Nightster. To add to the fun of the Nightster, there are various driving modes that can be selected to suit the driver’s needs depending on the current road conditions. This allows for safer driving with better handling between road mode, rain mode and sport mode. What makes the bike so light is the centralization of the motor and fuel cell located at the lower end of its frame.

As a result, the Nightster is able to easily maneuver at low speeds, as well as rest without problems when stationary. The 2022 Harley-Davidson Nightster comes as a mostly bright black motorcycle with hints of orange as it highlights the brand logo. However, there are other color variations to choose from such as Gunship Gray and Redline Red. And, it wouldn’t be a Harley-Davidson motorcycle if it weren’t for the ability to customize it like an artist making the most of a blank canvas. There are options to equip the motorcycle with a Reach handlebar, a Reach seat, as well as forward controls. The passenger pillion and foot pegs allow this bike to be ridden by two people instead of just one.
